露西·夏皮罗是一位传奇的女性生物学家,她大学所学专业是美术,之后才转而攻读生物学并成为一位知名的生物发育学家。本文从女性主义视角,以艺术与科学为主线,回顾她由艺术转向科学的过程,介绍其主要科学成就和她在社会活动领域的理念及影响,提炼总结其善于将美术学培养起来的空间感转化到微生物结构构象实践中、对科研选题的敏感性和科研过程中坚忍不拔的品格及重视学生培养、团队合作等科学家精神。

the dissertation reviewed the whole process she has turned her career from art to science
introduced her major scientific achievements and her philosophy in and influence on social activity field
demonstrated her scientist spirit from her stories such as her speciality to turn sense of space cultivated by art into organic texture conformation practices
